Vocal Coach

Soulfulwake Studio is seeking an additional VOICE COACH to teach at our East SAN JOSE studio.All of our coaches are highly skilled in Speech Level Singing. Experience HIGHLY preferred, but not required. We will train you! (MUST be musically inclined and have a good ear for music).Must be able to play basic piano/scales, or be willing to learn.4-6 MONTH (give or take depending on education) TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:1) You will be required to take our monthly online training $15/mo (3 hours/mo). 2) Attend our 6 day training in October $325 (usually 5k +) (can be watched online/in person if able). 3) You will also be required to train your voice and learn how to teach with our level 5 (top level) Speech Level Coach. (cost of this will vary and is more flexible - I'd suggest $300-$400/mo ready to invest if possible).Note: If I meet a promising talent, we can discuss a plan, if budget is an issue to do everything at once.START DATE:The soonest you'd start would be this January 2025 (just a few beginner clients to begin to learn). Clients will be added on slowly through time + a bigger portion as time goes on.INTERVIEW:The first step in the interview process is scheduling a voice assessment with myself (Sarah), as the owner ($75).The assessment will provide an analysis of your current vocal ability.HOURLY STARTING PAY:Your pay rate will start at $40/hour and will increase (potentially to $90 +/hour through time and years of experience etc.)PART TIME/FULL TIME:Hours are flexible. You create your own schedule. NOTE: Please be ready to fully commit to a long term training process. This is for SERIOUS applicants that love music, and are willing to put in the time and effort to start a flexible + high income career. WHY work with us?:In previous years, to become certified in Speech Level Singing, there was a minimum fee of 10k +/year. This offer is truly a gift compared to what was required before. You will not get paid more than $45/hour working at a studio somewhere else. Speech Level Singing technique is on a whole other caliber.
