We are now seeking an exceptional Weddings Executive to join our Events team and play a key role in creating truly memorable wedding experiences at Mount Juliet Estate. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality, events or wedding professional with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service, building relationships and bringing special occasions to life. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the wedding journey from initial enquiry through to the day itself, building strong relationships with couples and ensuring every detail is carefully planned and delivered to the highest standard. The Role As Weddings Executive, you will be a key point of contact for couples throughout their wedding journey at Mount Juliet Estate. From the initial enquiry and venue tour through to planning meetings, menu tastings and the wedding day itself, you will ensure every interaction is professional, personal and reflective of the five-star experience we offer. You will work closely with couples to understand their vision, provide expert guidance and coordinate the many details involved in delivering a successful wedding. Working collaboratively with our Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and wider operational teams, you will ensure every element comes together seamlessly. This is a relationship-led role requiring excellent organisation, commercial awareness, attention to detail and a genuine passion for weddings and luxury hospitality. Functions of the position Key Responsibilities Wedding Sales & Enquiries · Respond promptly and professionally to wedding enquiries, creating a warm and engaging first impression of Mount Juliet Estate. · Build strong relationships with couples from their initial enquiry through to their wedding day. · Conduct wedding viewings and showcase the Estate, its facilities and wedding offering with enthusiasm and confidence. · Understand each couple's individual requirements, preferences and vision for their wedding. · Prepare and present proposals, packages and quotations in line with the couple's requirements. · Follow up on enquiries and opportunities in a timely and professional manner. · Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, conversions and wedding details. · Work towards agreed wedding revenue and conversion targets. · Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through appropriate upselling and additional services. Wedding Planning & Coordination · Act as a key point of contact for couples throughout the planning process. · Coordinate wedding planning meetings, menu tastings and other key appointments. · Build detailed wedding plans and ensure all relevant information is accurately captured and communicated. · Work closely with couples to understand their requirements, timings, preferences and special requests. · Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure all arrangements are clearly understood. · Ensure wedding details are communicated effectively to all relevant teams ahead of the wedding. · Anticipate potential challenges and proactively identify solutions. · Maintain a high level of organisation across multiple weddings and planning timelines. Wedding Day Experience · Support the seamless delivery of weddings on the day, ensuring the agreed plans and details are executed to the highest standard. · Be a visible and reassuring point of contact for the couple and their families. · Work closely with operational teams to ensure timings, guest requirements and special details are delivered as planned. · Respond calmly and professionally to any changes or unexpected requirements. · Ensure the couple and their guests receive warm, attentive and personalised service throughout their celebration. · Help create memorable moments that reflect the individual couple and their vision. Guest Experience & Service Excellence · Deliver a highly personalised experience throughout the entire wedding journey. · Build genuine relationships with couples and understand what is important to them. · Take ownership of queries, concerns and service recovery, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally. · Maintain exceptional standards of communication, presentation and attention to detail. · Seek feedback from couples and identify opportunities to continuously improve the wedding experience. · Ensure every wedding reflects the luxury standards and unique character of Mount Juliet Estate. Commercial & Operational Performance · Support the achievement of wedding revenue, conversion and profitability targets. · Maintain strong knowledge of the Estate's wedding offering, packages, facilities and seasonal opportunities. · Identify opportunities to maximise revenue while ensuring recommendations remain appropriate to the couple's requirements. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within relevant systems. · Support forecasting and reporting requirements for the weddings business. · Monitor competitor and market activity where relevant and identify opportunities for the Estate. · Ensure all agreed commercial and operational procedures are followed. Teamwork & Communication · Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and other operational departments. · Ensure accurate and timely communication of wedding requirements across the Estate. · Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless experience from planning through to the wedding day. · Build positive relationships with external wedding suppliers and partners. · Support a culture of teamwork, accountability and exceptional service.RequisitosRequirements The Ideal Candidate · Previous experience in weddings, events, hotel sales, hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment. · A genuine passion for weddings, events and creating memorable experiences. · Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. · A warm, confident and professional manner when dealing with couples, families and suppliers. · Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. · The ability to manage multiple weddings and deadlines simultaneously. · Commercially aware with an understanding of sales, conversion and revenue generation. · Confident conducting venue tours and presenting proposals to prospective couples. · Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. · A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders. · Previous experience with a hotel sales or events system is desirable. · Experience within a luxury hotel or five-star environment is desirable. · A genuine desire to develop a career within luxury weddings and hospitality.Se ofreceWorking conditions and benefits Why Join Mount Juliet Estate? · Opportunity to work within one of Ireland's most celebrated five-star luxury resorts. · Be part of the globally recognised Marriott Autograph Collection network.
